So you have quenelle...

Last week I reviewed five restaurants of varying degrees of conceptual delusion and this week I'll almost certainly do the same, or more. As a result I believe am perfectly at liberty to say that this is the best scene of any film ever ever ever:

(And it may be the last video I post here, as YouTube interface appears to have gone utterly hatstand. Has anyone else found this?)

The first "Noodle Western", says Wikipedia.

I've never seen that before. It's wonderful. (And my YouTube is fine, or at least as fine as YouTube will ever be.)

Hahahahaha... one of my favorite scenes in one of my favorite movies.

I always get a strong urge to yell NEENER NEENER during this scene.

This is a great, great movie. Fat Roland, you must see it. But fair warning: have lots of food available (ideally high-quality Japanese noodles) while watching it.

YouTube is being painfully slow, but that could be my connection.

Says something about Japanese culture does that. I trust the Corton Charlemagne came from the south-east facing slope.

Thank you for reminding me of this, Tim. Love that scene.

But not the last, Annie!

Oh see it, Roland. It's sake-shooting-out-your-nose funny.

See, Valerie said so as well.

Speed is fine - but the homepage looks as if it's been designed by Jamie Reid.

Naturally, DH, or the sommelier would have to commit seppuku.

A pleasure, Geoff.

LOL, that was us in Iggy's the other night. Mmm, so you serve shirako...

Luckily it was a set menu.

Ah, so you've eaten in the best restaurant in Asia, E@L? I just had lunch in the 19th.
