Hmmm. Why are they getting so irate about it? He proved he could do a job by you know, actually doing the job, which is a better criterion for judging someone's ability than a short interview and a CV. I know what he means about a CV being a talking point too. Applying with a CV then interviewing is a pretty flawed process, much better to have work experience. And it's not like he was lying about being a qualified brain surgeon then cutting open people's heads. Also, he said he was ashamed of his lack of education, which was why he lied in the first place. This is pretty human. He was let down by the education system and he still made a go of his working life.
That said, I wouldn't want to be stuck in a room with him for more than 5 minutes.
Fair points, Annie. But he lied on his CV before exposing himself to the scrutiny of millions of viewers. The chances of his fibs coming out were high - which betrays a lack of judgement. Far more problematic in a business environment than a lack of ethics.
And he's still rocking the designer stubble look, Garfer.

The winner of the Apprentice is a tool who people have conversations about.
and here i figured they stacked them
on top of the tanks in the executive washroom.
...after a quick read of the article, it seems thats exactly how this mooks cv SHOULD have been used, too.

FN: Not in the tanks?
If they'd cared about his CV they could have checked when he applied.
I reckon they knew from the beginning Billy, and pulled it out at the last minute to make for more suspense.
I never read any overseas reaction to the Sops finale. Maybe ya had to be here--
Sex worker Rose Tyler, I mean Billie Piper, is debuting here soon on Showtime. Is anyone watching "Secret Diary of a Call Girl" out there?
m.a. peel: No.
We all suffer from massive A-List-blogger-with-a-book-deal-and-tv-adaption Envy.
...
I mean Ennui.
Billy/Annie: So cynical!
Mrs Peel/Spin: Yeah, but she's back in Dr Who any day now...
