I've assumed for the last 40 years that "Ain't too proud to Beg" was written by Holland and his less impressive brother, Dozier Holland.
One lives and learns .
Ah, the overlooked oblique. Easy to do. I suspect there are others who believe the Temptations' hits were written by a Mr Whitfield Strong.
