At its heart, the subject matter of Cloud Atlas (the movie) is the core component of all cinema, the less-than-convincing facial prosthesis.

It wasn't wholly terrible Annie. But the multi-role casting gimmick went from being slightly distracting to profoundly irritating.

LC: I think it's the first time I've seen an adaptation that's actually more complicated than the source material. Still, you can't accuse them of dumbing down.

So were the FX in Avatar, Savannah. Which meant they didn't have any money left over for a script.
