If you Google the name of the place where I lived between the ages of four and fourteen, the first result is for the Wikipedia page. The second is the entry on www.chavtowns.co.uk.
Don't know Leigh Park itself, but I went to the University of Southampton for 2 terms, and dated a guy whose mother was the lord mayoress of Portsmouth, hence went to many a Pompey match. And I worked with The Maskers, an amateur theater group. They were doing "Streetcar Named Desire" and wanted coaching on their American accents. It was a blast.
