There is a new CBS show called Blue Bloods staring Tom Selleck as the fictional chief of the New York police department. In a scene at a press conference, someone asks about a piece of news that's just come out, and Selleck says, "You are a trained journalist, are you really going to believe a bunch of bloggers?"
It doesn't get more mainstream than the CBS network, and it's sad to see that that kind of blog bigotry still persists.
