That is the most depressing thing I've read this week. Thanks.

I didn't read your article today. I am waiting for the podcast.

I mean, books are great and all, but are they really the best medium for The Simpsons?

I always get my scribe to copy your posts longhand for me, as I find looking at a computer screen unnatural.

What a crap comment - he could have at least posted a video of himself ranting. I've no time to "read" about his woes. (Whatever "read" means.)

I heard someone yesterday predicting the demise of pop-up books with the rise of interactive screens. The Origami in Rupert Annuals used to be the pinnacle of Christmas excitement to me....

To be fair to the reviewer, that particular book is a MAMMOTH volume with a case that really looks like it should contain DVDs of every Simpsons episode. I looked at it in the bookstore thinking that's what it was. I'm not sure what's in it, but I don't think being disappointed that it's a book of Simpsons trivia rather than the actual Simpsons shows an aversion to books in general.

(I've written two books, am working on a third, and own thousands.)
