LC, one of the mainstays of our little virtual gang when this whole thing felt like the future, directs us to this article by Monique Judge, suggesting that blogging needs to make a comeback. Except I think what she really wants is something that isn’t Twitter.

I never left blogging, I just slowed my posting down. I'm getting back into it and have deleted my Twitter account. I still post on Facebook, but blogging is so much more fun again! xoxo
I've never left blogging either, but a number of friends (genuine friendships made through blogging) have tried to return and most of them have given up quite quickly, because it hasn't been rewarding enough. There isn't the network any more. If they write a post and put a link to it on Facebook, comments come back on Facebook rather than the blog. Most of this is because they put security in place so it's quite difficult to comment. We used to check on friends and leave comments on their blogs, this has been superseded by other sorts of media. Blogging is still far better than any of them, however.
